How come "moderator approval" is suddenly required....??

...on everything I post at the moment. I even commented on a photo and found the little red message staring back at me.

Is this the same for everyone, am I being paranoid or has there been a recent change?

One of my posts has just been held for moderator approval.
I've never ever posted anything naughty and this particular post was asking a polite question.
I hope these new moderators are not just playing around with members posts.
I find this annoying.

An explanation from the mods as to why approval is suddenly required would be helpful.

It will depend on what section the post is in. some sections need moderator approval for various reasons like the sponsor section,dealer review section,hire section all require it. We do try and approve them as quick as we can.
