Hi. So anyone from here going along? I've managed to bag myself a spot on the actual VW California vehicle display pitch so looking forward to that.

I have enjoyed it in the past, so may go again.

What is the deal with the display pitch, are you actually camping within the show area?

I am not camping and only going on the Saturday. There was a campaign on Face Book ( I think it was) asking for any VW Cali owners to apply to be apart of the California Vehicle Display to which I applied. After sending in pictures and an "about me" description, I was selected and offered 2x free entry tickets to show and camping nearby on site at reduced cost if I wanted to. Alas work prevents me from camping and attending both days.

Yes usually go on Saturday as its just down the road for us....

If everything continues to go to plan it will be Violet's ( yes the wife has named it already) first trip. Were scheduled to pick V up on 21st!

Replied to the note on facebook and have been confirmed with my passes etc. camping from Friday

Really looking forward to it. No doubt I'll have loads of questions as we get used to it
