Last T5 California off the Line.

Well I am still waiting for my Cali

not even a confirmed build date yet.
Just started wondering if it could be the last T5 Cali off the line.

Hands up who else is waiting for their new Cali and lets keep an eye out for the last T5 Cali to be made.

I would think Vw will keep the last one for their museum.
They'll have to keep it indoors though to stop the roof paint bubbling. :bananadance

Are you sure you actually want "the last one" ?
Could be some nuts and bolts missing on thatone

I am hoping that's sorted on the last ones. Can't find a fingers crossed smiley thing.

Still no build date. Left arm and left leg now twice the size of right.

Ordered 23rd dec 2014, build date arrived as week 17 w/c 20th April. Due at dealer 14th May.
Re roof, I asked for confirmation the problem was sorted and was informed the fix had taken place on all 2014 built Cali's. I also asked for some written assurance that VW will honor six year fix. Unfortunately the response has been very disappointing,In that, via email the dealer as stated that the fix is a goodwill gesture from VW, as such VW reserve the right to withdraw this at any time.

I have asked the dealer to go and review the response with VW. That was a few weeks ago. I will keep pressing with this and post an update when I hear.

Well a disappointing update today. My original delivery date was end of Feb then changed to a build date of 30th March and now delivery is expected to be May

...they are at the moment sending parts from the dealers back to the factory to assamble the last ones coming of the productionline....

Having a chat with the dealer yesterday I discovered my new vehicle was at stage 3 whatever that is

So Excited! - Just had a build week confirmation of 6th June...... tinged with slight trepidation that its a late build week, and I hope they don't run out of those crucial nuts and bolts by then!

I wouldn't worry T6 Cali is barely different they have plenty of the old nuts and bolts

I wonder if the late T5's will get any of the T6 parts like the dimmable LED roof lights

We just got a "38" message today. Means it's in the port at Hamburg I think.
The T6 hype seems to be causing mass orders and if the production line isn't scaled up there's going to be pandamonium. That's another new colour!
