Alarm going off when in vehicle???

Hi

Seem to have an issue with the alarm going off in the night. The doors are closed & when we get up to use the loo in the night the alarm keeps going off. Anyone any ideas what is being done wrong?

Are you locking yourself in with the key fob ?

If so don't, use the central locking button on the drivers door to lock yourself in at night.

Or if you wish to dead lock yourself in, disable the internal movement sensors with the button on the pillar by the drivers door.

Try the switch on your drivers door pillar
You want the amber light showing when inside and the doors are locked

And you have to have the drivers door open to see the light on the switch.

Aaahhh, Yes you are right, I have used the key fob to lock it, Thanks so much for that, will try the one on the driver pillar.

You can also use the keyfob but need to press it twice. Once to deadlock and alarm and the second press turns off the alarm and deadlock. (That is what happens on mine anyhow...!)
