Cleaning the roll-out awning

Wonder if anyone can help (forgot to ask at the Cirencester meet!)?

I've got horrendous yellow petal stains on the rollout awning from some trees in south of France. I've tried cleaning them off with bleach, white vinegar, meths and white spirit -all to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks. I'll try those suggestions and maybe a spray cleaner from a car parts place.
(I hate that I started a new thread when there's already one going. I thought I'd had a good look around too).

Search on here is a bit weird. The more search terms you put in the more responses you get, it appears to expand the search rather than narrow it :)

There is probably some smart search terms to use....

I got mine cleanER but not clean using every available "weapon" in my extensive "detailing" armoury. Basically, they're a bu99er to get completely clean!

I've had an annoying dirty streak on mine for some time. Having to look at it every day for 2 weeks forced me to tackle it when we got back last weekend.
I was surprised that hot water, fairy liquid and a double sided kitchen rough sponge thingy got rid of it
