More Information

****PRICE Reduced Again!! **** Cherry Red, owned from new in June 2016. 12 months MOT, full service history (after warranty expired, serviced by a independent garage) and recent June 22 service included a cam belt change. In very good condition, with no dents or scratches. However it has been used on various summer and winter trips across the UK and EU, so you shouldn't expect it to be as good as brand new van!

Factory fitted extras:
1. 5th removable swivel seat
2. Grey Awning with black cassette
3. Cruise control and leather multi function steering wheel and gear gaiter
4. Front and rear parking sensors
5. Headlamp washer system with heated front washer noz
6. Heated front windscreen
7. Lights and vision package
8. Privacy glass with heat insulation
9. Towbar, removable, lockable
10. 204 ps engine with 6 speed manual gearbox

It has had the elevating roof corrosion prevention fix from VW. Comes with 2 x remote keys for engine and water tank and remote fob for running the heater

Other extras:
1. Bonnet bra - black and red chequered
2. Insulated whole van cover
3. Cali-Topper - for roof and sides when the roof is up
4. Front and side windows insulated cover
5. Cabin bed - goes across the 2 front seats
6. 2 x 100w solar panels that screw into the roof rails, MPPT inverter and bluetooth module from solarcampersolutions.co.uk (these panels allow off grid living, the fridge can run 24/7 and the leisure and charger batteries are kept topped up) - these have been a game changer
7. Upgraded tailgate seats with metal bolts - see California forum for more details
8. New black matts front and back, with a spare unused set
9. Front and back seat covers
10. Mattress toppers for upstairs and downstairs
11. 25m hook up cable
12. Snow chains
13. Collapsable ladder to assist roof access
14. Thule Awning tie down kit

Standard equipment I remember includes: Programmable Diesel Parking heater which runs from the main diesel tank (which used 11 litres of diesel to keep the van warm in sub zero temperatures during an Alps ski trip, being left on continually for 6 days), Front and back climate control, Bluetooth, MP3, CD, DAB stereo with speakers front and back (all accessible from the multi function steering wheel, including bluetooth phone), 2 gas hob rings, sink with electric tap supplied by 15 litre tank, 15 litre waste water with open/close valve (with overflow, so it will just empty through the exit pipe once full), top loading fridge with adjustable temperature, wardrobe, under kitchen cupboards, above rear seat cupboard, sliding rear bench that has upright, reclined and bed position, front swivel seats, 12 volts socket in the front, 2 in the rear cabin space, 1 in the rear, 1 upstairs, USB socket, chilled glove box, 150w 240v inverter from the 12 volt batteries (e.g. laptop charger), 240v socket for hook up, sliding table for passenger area, outdoor table (stores on the inside of the sliding door) and 2 x chairs (stored in tailgate pocket). Lots of LED lights, dimmable at the back and upstairs.

Items that make it not perfect, so please don't waste yours and my time with a viewing if these items bother you:
1. Water stain on rear bed extension; see the photo
2. Air not blowing from the 2 x centre vents; it does blow (hot and AC cold) from all the windscreen vents, the 2 front side vents and the rear vents. Likely to be a stuck flap behind the front console which could be a software fix or labour intensive front console removal, VW want £lots to just investigate, my local independent says it's not worth it and I agreed with that many years ago...We've had numerous trips in the heat and kept the van and passengers cool, inc. blowing cold air onto faces from the front side vents
3. Waste water sensor not working, so the control panel has a flashing icon. I've never had a full tank, however I tested it and it does overflow, so it's no problem. I did get a new sensor from VW Preston this week, however it still doesn't work, showing fault code 4001 in the diagnostic section (see forum for details)

Available as an extra: another set of wheels to match those on the vehicle (if you wanted to run summer and winter tyres)
