After many years making awesome memories it's time to sell our VW California SE 174 campervan and Kyham Dub Hub XL awning. We've travelled to many places, enjoyed family camping, skiing and sports trips. It's also been a great practical second car. This California was bought from this website in 2012, and we've drawn upon the many useful resources to keep on top of regular maintenance tasks. The engine is the robust and reliable 2.5TDI, with manual 6 speed transmission, it's never missed a beat. Originally a demonstrator vehicle so fully loaded with factory / dealer options including climate control with three zones, heated seats, removable tow bar, diesel heater (with remote control), two electronic keys, three floor rails and 5th seat, bike rack, wind out awning. Other upgrades include, Pioneer DAB radio including reversing camera and Bluetooth audio (original VW radio will also be included), 17" VW Thunder alloy wheels, tinted side windows, fly screens, chrome side bars and grill strips, driver and passenger wind deflectors, VW roof bars, snow chains. We've done everything to keep it in good order, the seats have always been covered. Beyond regular servicing, maintenance completed includes minor bodywork and spray to remove dents and corrosion, replacement of both leisure batteries, repairs to central control unit screen (due again, we have a good repairer). Lots of paperwork for servicing & repairs. Usual wear and tear which we’ve happy to share before viewing. Mileage is 119,750k. MOT'd January 2023. Major service also completed in January 2023.
