I am the third owner, having acquired the Cali in June 2023. In metallic Indium Grey with 44,000 miles, full VW main dealer service history and brand new cambelt and water pump in May 2023.
The original owner ticked nearly every option box, so this is a very high specification Beach with options totalling nearly £10k! Most importantly, it has the diesel parking heater and the comfort dashboard package – this gives you the 3 zone Climatronic A/C with vents and controls in the back. Other options include: Front / rear parking sensors and rear-view camera, Discover Media navigation – includes App Connect and CarPlay, power latching for tailgate and side door, roll-out awning, privacy glass, additional sliding side window, Bluetooth telephone with steering wheel controls and the ‘interior light concept’ – this gives additional camping lighting in the tailgate and roof. There are also 17” Davenport alloys (unmarked!), genuine VW comfort mattress and + a few more bits and bobs on the option list (I can send the full list of options / prices if you like). Dealer fit accessories include the cycle rack, heavy duty rubber mats and it also had Autoglym Lifeshine protection from new.
All the standard items are there too – including table and 2x chairs, roof mattress, roof safety net and window blind pack.
From September, she will have served her first 6 years at the supplemental VED rate and annual road tax will be reduced to only £180.
Mechanically, it benefitted from the 5-year extended warranty and service pack so has always been serviced to manufacturer specification. Five main dealer services with all invoices and printouts – most recent was a minor service carried out at Camberley VW Van Centre when they also replaced the cambelt and water pump on 11 May 2023. MOT until October 2023 and Continental tyres still have 8mm rear / 7mm front of tread remaining. Advisories from last MOT were wipers which I have replaced and a stone chip which I have had repaired. The pads are showing as 60% warn so probably still have about 15k miles on them. This van is ready to go and I want it to go to a good home ready to enjoy the summer!
