I have also fitted a shower which is accessed via the boot and is very handy for muddy boots or the odd summer shower. The water system now has a relay installed which stops premature failure of the cold water tap microswitch (common issue).

The van is currently fitted with a 120W solar panel and Victron charge controller. This is shown in the photos but not included in the sale.

This California is a credit to it’s previous owners. I’m an engineer and take great pride in maintaining, upgrading and improving the reliability of all the vehicles I own, this one is no exception. This is our 3rd VW campervan and will be greatly missed. We are only selling as we have decided to go for a larger van with permanent bed and internal washroom.

I believe I have priced our California fairly considering its mileage, specification and condition. I think you will struggle to find a better T5.1 California.
