I noticed that you have external windscreen covers which look great on your van. We are currently researching them. I have some questions so apologies for them:
Are they thermal?
Can you open the doors without having to unfastening them?
How pleased are you with them especially as you are in the Pyrenees?, and
Where did you get them from
Alicante airport multistory carpark is no problem for a California. The bridge between the car park and the airport is on the 4th floor. I usually park on the 5th the top floor. Paying machine are easy to spot. The barriers read number plates.
Thank you and i like your idea of using the tailgate as additional storage areaThe covers are double layered so pseud-thermal.
The doors need to be slightly opened to take off part of the cover to fully open the door. The cover remains Velcroed around the wing mirror. Not too much faff.
Delighted with the cover. So quick and easy to deploy. Can be stowed with the tailgate chairs when wet from dew. Can also leave front windows partially or fully open for nighttime ventilation when deployed.
Bought second-had from someone on this forum. I think they were made by the club shop.
Parked up at the beach on Camping El Portus near Cartagena Spain

It’s our 3rd trip there in the camper so far. You’re very lucky living there.

All good with the standard Beach heating?Pretty much the only ones at Sandringham campsite Friday night trying out our new Beach. She performed admirably and even popped the roof in torrential rain and had no issues View attachment 142796
Yeah 100%. Only my Son and I. Him upstairs me downstairs. Toasty. We even had the driver window cracked open with the plastic vents that come with the van. No condensation. Brilliant. It wasn’t -c but got down to 2c over night. So far, can’t fault itAll good with the standard Beach heating?
Lovely colour that!Much Wenlock, Shropshire.
