Let's see how many different models of Westie we've got.

Feet off the seat junior !

View attachment 16186 Same van as before but with £250 spent on paint detailing. The difference is amazing, gone are all the scratches and swirls with a really shiny finish left. Well worth the money.
Looks great!
In fact you've inspired me to finally get around to polishing the roof on mine - long overdue, but very happy with the results!
...this was halfway through the job...

Here's mine... 1982 air cooled T25 Westfalia Joker. One previous German Dr. owner, 90k (56,000 miles) from new, no rust, unrestored original condition, mint interior with unmarked seats and units, owned since 2005 and a keeper!18121207_1500179426660441_6531309178214849942_o.jpg

Adding the Canadian contingent to the mix here... 1994 Eurovan Westfalia (aka California Coach). Added a flexible 100W solar panel (not seen in the photo), which was dead easy to do and works great. This was a free camping spot up in Whistler, BC. Can't wait to do more trips!

This has been discussed before I think but, what are the vents on the side behind the drivers doir?

California Coach, 98 2.5TDI, sadly lacking decals due to respray I guess. Pity the guy who was very active on this site 2 years ago is gone?

Hellow Pat

Nice T4; I'm not the guy who was very active on the site some time ago. I guess you mean Dan, who had a '91 california but sold it (has a toyota camper now, I've been told. Hopefully they start a blog again with their new travels).
Just as info: (some) stickers can be bought at poptop. That's a Dutch shop but they speak English too.

Thanks Calibusje - I will have a look. I would choose understated rather than "go faster stripes", though the "Transporters - campers in disguise" does make me laugh. I suppose for a proper German camper look I will have to get some of those moose? caribou? stickers too!
Doeg.

Blimey! How’s the Datsun going?

Going well thanks, although it still amazes me that anyone was able to produce a slower vehicle that the 2.4D T4...

How's the 150?

Do miss my old one.
