On our new T6 150DSG Ocean, which we took delivery of last Friday, we ordered cargo nets for the roof opening. This means we got an extra drawer under the rear set (instead of the removable "long load" panel).

Result.

Except it rattles terribly. Anyone else experience this?

I tried loading the drawer with stuff, to weigh it down or at least damp the vibration, but that did not seem to help.

Have the draw, no rattle at all. Almost certainly the table not being seated properly in the bottom catch. Push the table towards the cabinet while sliding it back, with pressure applied at seat level.

Again, we have the draw, no rattles. Almost certainly the table not properly secured. Don't like the net hanging down, I'ts just gets in the way when not in use. Has any body come up with a way to remove when not in use?

Thanks for the replies. How is it that when I searched for underseat drawer, I didn't find anything? (rhetorical question...)

My table was not properly stowed, but I don't think that solved it. It's with the dealer to check out.

Update: the extra drawer IS rattling. The dealer couldn't cure it and has asked VW technical for a solution. It's because VW recently changed the design of the drawer and both runners are on the LHS of the drawer, so there is more scope for movement.

The rattle was awful, but I have stopped it with a couple of judicious pieces of black tape on the catch. Won't last for ever, but has kept it quiet for now...

Further Update:

Dealer replaced the small drawer completely. At first no rattle. Hooray! Now the same rattle has come back. Boo!

(Side note: Listers van centre made a real mess inside the van when they did the job)

It's not the felt pad that stops the drawer catch rattling, that's present. The whole drawer seems to wobble.
It seems the design has changed (for MY17?) and both runners for the drawer are on the same side (previously one runner each side, I'm told), so the whole thing rattles. I can silence it by stuffing a wad of something under the drawer from the boot, but this is a far from ideal solution for obvious reasons.

Anyone know when the design of the drawer changed?
Anyone else with a MY2017 or later van with the optional small drawer?
