Drinking dog slobber

Mrs Amarillo is a genius at using all available space for packing: and I can sort of understand filling an empty mug with with tea bags or stuffing socks into boots.

But why oh why did she hide two well chewed dog balls in the kettle, allow me to fill it and make me a mug of coffee and her a cup of tea, and drink it, without letting me know they were there, and then blame me for filling the kettle by the spout rather than remove the lid!?
