Enclosed is the RF100 for the California , don’t be put off by the fact that it says that the colour is "Yellow", that is the way that revenue describe "Mojave Beige Metallic".


On the right hand side of the form you fill out the following:


Under section "C- MOTOR TAX PARTICULARS - TAX CLASS"


Under the section "Other Tax Class (please specify)" write "Camper"

I guess you are referring to the Irish revenue? If so I can oinly say that it's slightly comforting to find that other countries' government departments have ridiculous notions just as the British ones do!

Thanks for your reply.
I rang the Revenue and explained the situation and they advised me to change the colour by filling out a RF111 form. Just tick the colour beige box and send them back the Vehicle Registration Cert. I got a new VRC last week in the post with the colour marked as Beige.
As it's just been taxed for the first time they are happy to correct any mistakes but I doubt they would be as willing to change it after taxing it form year 2 onwards!!!
