Thinking of Norway later this year,is there any restrictions on wild camping as we don't do the campsite thing.

Dougie.
Dougie,
I have to agree. I haven’t paid to sleep anywhere or had a neighbour in over a year of camping in Norway. Norway is one of the best places I’ve been for wild camping. I can happily recommend it. I hope that 18 year Lagavulin was good.

Looks fabulous!

And? Justifiable?
Haha. I added the diff-lock and hill descent as I had ambitious plans to add air suspension and create a Iceland/Scandinavia go-anywhere overland adventure vehicle. I’ve found it to be really good just as it is. And I’m emigrating to the USA next year so sadly I’ll be passing on the Ocean. I’ve played with both options but used them rarely. The descent control works really well on steep ice. I’ve only needed the diff-lock a couple of times to get out of deep snow, when I was deliberately testing the limits.

Didn't know where to post about the weather but as the Cali is the central topic I put it here despite the lack of Cali in the pic :Grin
It's been a while since I washed Kylie (my Cali) and after looking at the dust on it and the brake dust on the front wheels (the back ones were almost free from brake dust which concerns me slightly as I expect a little more than that even though the rears always suffer less) I decided to wash her.
Thats when I realised I've been away twice and commuted back and forth to work a million times and there hasn't been a single drop of rain in all that time since the last wax. It's got to be at least 27 days and may well be over a month. Incredible for this country even if I have just dodged it.
Anyway you can just make out the roof :Grin at 10.22pm given the longest day has now passed.
Actually to the naked eye there was even more light thanks to the clear sky.

We take every chance to get out with now three of us and so no superb picture more a day to day scene how the cali is just a great car for us.

Day Tripper!
A great weekend, kicked off with a local 5K park run, re-lay the slabs on the patio door step and a well over due early night. We got out Sunday skipping (but listening to) the impressive 6-1 England world cup win over Panama to join some friends kayaking and paddle boarding at Lee on the Solent which was like a mill pond and beautifully warm even in the sea and it's not often I say that in this country.
Fish and chips before we left for home.

It's safe to say there's not much demand for non EHU pitches at this campsite in Lancashire on a Sunday night.20180701_173416.jpg

The best choice we could make to buy this car after a test-weekend with a rent-California. Thanks to the members of the forum we were prepared quite well, so we had a good ride, a good breakfast, lunch & diner, a good night sleep and a super weekend together with my wife and our 9 years old son.

Our new Ocean from above from a weekend of trying our new Mavic Air drone out in the safety of the Lammermuir Hills, where the sheep far out number humans with no chance of us harming anything other than ourselves :). The drone was awesome and far easier to fly than we ever imagined, even in the high'ish winds it was very stable and great fun. We intend to use the drone to record our travels in Gilbert, our California Ocean, around our beloved Scotland and further afield over the coming months and years. As travelling photographers, The Travelling Togs, the Cali and the drone will both be wonderful assets and we can't wait to see where they take us :)

Leighton Hall, carnforth classic car show today. 30 degrees in the shade so we didn’t stay long unfortunate.
Complain when it rains and now when it’s sunny. Haha

First outing in the beach, previously had an se, cubs family camp. Also first trial of the comfortz awning kit which is great to use.

So, I've made it to Scotland. Found a great campsite just outside Crianlarich with some amazing views although the photos don't do it justice to be fair.
