Hi All, I’ve just been on vw’s customer service live chat with Ismahil, he told me that my van (204 dsg) is not affected by the production conformity issue, apparently it only relates to the 150 manual models... However they are still unable to give me an update on my build (w/c 4th Dec).

Not up for me. :( Can take a while for updates to propagate to all servers I guess. During the last update (about 3 weeks ago) the only engine option left was the 150PS. The site went down again shortly afterwards. It was basically DSG or Manual, 2WD or 4Motion....same engine all the time.

Had an update from VW today, build now week 10, from week 8 last week. Overall our build date has gone back 12 weeks in the last month, looks like delivery will be some time in April, not happy. has anyone else who has ordered a 204 DSG 4 motion being hit with delays ?

Has yours had the latest software update which means that the vehicle regens every 2 hours of use and I think the max range you get with a full Adblue tank is about 4,000 miles. I think it used to be 6,000 with a full tank before the last update.

Curiously the current brochure says the T6.1 DSG has both standard and sport modes yet images of the shifter don't have the D/S indicated. There is the +/- so manual option must still be available. So issue could be a bad sensor or more likely software hiccup. Take it to the dealer for a...

I believe it is just the software for the DSG that gets updated. Just ask them to update the gearbox software and explain the issue. When I went in they didn't have a clue what I was talking about but did it anyway after I persisted. All still working fine.

Remember to update how you get on with your VW visit. As I said above I got no help when I brought the issue up with my dealer.

Thanks I have just returned from the local dealer. They said there is nothing wrong but the engine needs a software update so will get that done in the next couple of weeks. I may do the reset this week end and see what happens thanks

Is it just me or the consumption seems went down slightly after the software update? I was getting rediculous 45miles per gallon on long slow stretches in a recent France travel. 205bhp 4 motion DSG. Was suspecting it is a premium fuel I decided to test but after filling the regular one...

Aye said a similar thing to me last week, the dsg did feel different after. Had a cam belt change, no mention of an update if it had one.

I was still in warranty then, so I don’t know. I do know that this particular update seems to be offered only to people that experience DSG problems with pulling away. So not every 2019 van would get it as standard, you really have to ask about it.
