Might be a silly question, but how do you know that your oil is diluted? If its the message about the oil level being too high, its probably either been topped up whilst the engine was cold or its a faulty sensor.

With respect WG, if VW cannot get an EGR to work correctly, without destroying the engine it's attached to, I would have zero faith in their ability to monitor various outputs, in order to make assumptions on the Long Life service regime. It's all utter faff on VWs part.
