00862 fault code

Our rns510 has started intermittently losing the GPS signal here in foreign parts.
Above code is coming up which relates to fault with the GPS antennae.
Has anyone had this and found a cure?

Has your wing mirror been clouted?
Might have dislodged the antenna.

Already tried that and the factory reset.
Worked for a while and went wonky again.
Strangely it worked fine in your homeland, gave up in Luxembourg, bit dodgy in Germany and France and didn't like Switzerland one bit.
Worked fine today once in Italy.
Not critical as I can still remember how to use map.

Loz, yes did wonder about that but not to my knowledge. DAB and FM working ok though. Might whip the unit out and check the connections if I can find some torx drivers.

If the aerial is knackered I'll get a cheap one off eBay and fit it under the dash tray. Fitted one in our Yeti and works fine. Definitely not paying the dealer to play about with it.

Took it out and fiddled with the connections.
Been ok since. Perhaps it likes warmer climes here in Spain.
