OK it looks cool. But what was it like, how did it function did it pass all your testing
 
Thanks everyone.. High winds and rain for 3 days and nights in the Lake District. . Wild camping in 3 different locations.... Fantastic we have nothing to compare it with, but just loved it!!! So if enjoyed it in those conditions summer will be fabulous!!!! Ocean lived upto all expectations.... 1 thing I will say, the VW privacy glass isn't dark enough for me so I'm going to add a darker tint. Very happy with everything else... We slept up top and warm enough. Clearly alot still to learn about equipment NOT to take lol...... thanks again for all the good wishes and hope to meet the people on this forum that are very very helpful.... Paul and Dianne

Awesome! How is the engine? We have a 150 (4motion) on the way too.

HI KernowLad 150 engine great... I took the most economical option... Seemed to have plenty of power. I ordered middle August, I guess without too many complicated options... best wishes for you and yours Paul

wow, your van looks fantastic. we have just come back from the lakes, spent 3 nights in hawkshead, the croft campsite, 3 nights of wind and rain but the cali never lets you down, hope you have many many years of fun and enjoy your new ocean, we got ours in march this year and it all ways puts a smile on our faces, we are regular visitors to the lakes so we will keep our eyes peeled for you and give you the royal wave. :thumb:thumb:thumb
 
Wow love your California. Colour looks great. Is that Candy White? I've just placed an order through drivethedeal for a red one but I am so tempted to change it to white when the dealer calls to finalise details nest week. Nice Canyon bike too..

Hi James Thanks. It's the Pearl white lucky I ordered it when that option was the price of other metallic options... Loving the Van we are just on our way home from wild camping and cycling at Kielder. .... keep intouch Paul
 
Cheers Paul, I was wondering whether it might be the metallic option. I've an Audi A3 in metallic white and it looks great. I think I'll have to stick with the red. I've added nearly £5k of extras already so I'm near my limit. I've never ever heard of Kielder but have just googled it. Looks great.

We live in the Cotswolds and have never ventured that far north (except once to Edinburgh)

We're looking forward to our first trip to Scotland in the California. We've got a 1968 T2 Westfalia which we've had for 5 years. Sadly travelling to Scotland in that takes a bit too long.. I do realise that Kielder in still in England though..
