So just back from 4 days away at the Gower In our 2014 T5.1. We had a bit of everything, howling winds, rain, sun and mist.
The Cali performed beautifully! The bellows didn’t leak at all, despite the heavens trying their best. It was utterly bone dry up top. I think the Nikwax spray I applied a few months ago helped.
All systems worked properly, roof stayed up and went down properly, no error codes. In fact the only thing that happened was running out of gas but the site had 907s so not problem. Also returned 42mpg on our return leg over 200 miles, fully loads with 4 of us and a dog.
I really feel for you guys with issues but wanted to post something positive about these remarkable vehicles as I suspect that issue free vans are the majority.
