Access to roof bed.

So if you don't use a telescopic ladder, and are over 50 yrs young, do you just use the front seats?

I just clamber up using the back of the seat. As for my Cali topper I have a small plastic step
For the back and I use the door step for the front :thumb

I just lever myself up from the front seat ... ever so athletically,

Although if I have had a particularly stressful evening of ever so necessary socialising I normally collapse in a heap on the floor

Same here but I don't reach that big 50 number till the end of the year and I'm worried things could go rapidly downhill after that

I just stand on one of the front seat bases but I've a few years to go till my 50th!
I've always worried that I might damage the heated seat elements but they still work fine.

Don't worry you young things - I'm 60 with some arthiritis - and have no problem getting my old bones upstairs sans ladder

I'm 73 and still climbing. Stop worrying you youngsters.

Good to hear. I'll be 65 when I take delivery of my California. Still managing to clamber up into and onto my Defender :bananadance

I'm 70 & easily get upstairs by standing on the front seat base FACING FORWARDS then pushing myself up with my arms (one on the bed & one on the ledge) till I sit on the edge of the bed.
Same procedure in reverse for getting down safely.

Wife is smaller & has to also put a foot on the top of the seat back - NOT THE ARMREST.
