Add a rear seat belts

Is it possible to add a middle lap belt to the rear seat

It would be helpful to know what vehicle you are referring to... Beach, Ocean, Coast...?
Likely the answer will be no.

Please more info about what car you are talking.

But to be short: NO.
You can't add extra seat belts to any car, unless you could get the approval of the car maker, but then it would have to be re registered.

And by the way, the 2 seat bench in a Coast or Ocean can't be changed without heavy modifications to the existing seat belts.

Not if your registration says 4 or 5 seats and you add yet another.
This would require a new registration, if the car maker approves it.

all you need to do in the uk is fill in the changes on your v5 and send it to dvla

Hi sorry on lack info is a ocean have not got one yet but looking at getting one here New Zealand have 5 people we ho need to be transported was going to add a middle lab belt in the back

The rear bench is not suitable for 3 persons. The only option would be to take the Ocean with the 5th seat, if they still sell that option.

An extra removable seat is the best option as people have stated but be aware there is no provision for this seat if you have the 4motion Ocean.
