Adding roof rack to GC 680

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me, I want to add a large solar panel to my GC 680 and as the roof is made from fiberglass i rekon I need to remove the internal headcloth. Has anyone had any experience doing this?

Hi all, I know this has been posted before for the GC 600. but as campsites are starting to charge extra for electricity thought I would investigate additional OEM solar panels and had this response from Solbian Contact, office@solbian.solar

with regards to the roof rack VW will insist it’s not load bearing but have seen posts that it has been done. As you say removing the head lining and I believe cabinetry.
