The van alarm went off last night for the first time in 5 years. The only thing I could see on inspection was a moth flying around. Any views on whether that could have caused the motion sensor to fire? Probably a silly boy question :).

I had similar with a fly, so I think yes, if it's close enough to the sensor. I seem to recall someone on the forum saying the sensitivity is adjustable.

Thanks ArunAlec - that's good news in a sense.

I would think thats possible too. I have a small dash cam (granted much bigger than a moth) in my car and it un-suckered it's self from the screen twice, falling about 3 inches to the dash board resulting in the alarm going off.
