Anyone fitted a Kenwood DNX4250?

Thinking of replacing the standard VW RCD 310 in my Cali for a Kenwood unit with Sat Nav. I know about the DNX525DAB specific to VW but for about half the price the DNX4250 has the right spec, just needs an extra bit of trim due to make it the right shape due to its standard double din size.
Has anyone fitted one, if so comments good or bad would be welcome plus a picture of the install.

Take care when you dismantle the dash to remove the radio. If you disconnect the airbag warning light and switch the key on you will have an airbag alarm on the dash which you cannot reset without VCDS (Vagcom) or a visit to a dealer.
