Anyone towed a trailer with their GC ?

i had to lower the towbar ball assembly on my 680 towbar. Factory fit. Becasue back door was hitting locking handle on bike carrier when opening 10cm.
I was really surprised how tiny the 4 bolts are, maybe 10mm diameter.
nothing like the 16mm bolts i have always had on vehicles before this.
suprised they are rated for 2000kg braked trailer limit of the GC
