Ascot Grey - so glad we chose it.

Finally took delivery of our Ocean in Ascot Grey with sports pack. (Ordered last March!) We are absolutely delighted with the Color having talked myself in and out of it many times. It seems to change colour depending on the light. We hit the road with ‘Malcolm’ on an epic trip to Saint Tropez, Cannes, Frejus etc. absolute dream trip. Highly recommended.

Looks great! Ordered the same colour with sport pack. I know its built and in the U.K. now, just waiting for the dealer to call me to say they have it and I can pick it up!!

Ascot definitely looks great with black wheels. I didnt go with the sports pack but will do a wheel swap at some point to black wheels.

I agree - love it, its quite recessive, blending into it surroundings with a sandy tinge in sunlight and greyer on cloudy days. Oddly it seems to stay looking clean longer than I'd imagined too.
Did you get a 150 in the end - I read the advice for a 204 which I never followed and glad I didn't - 150 is punchy!
You should update your avatar which still says 'just browsing'. Maybe put your options on your signature too to help others?

Nice picture and nice cali!
We now have ours in ascot grey for almost two months. First we received a red one in March 2021. Although it was very beautiful (cherry red) we had not ordered our coast in this colour and decided to wait for the one in the ordered color. This meant an extra 12 months of waiting but I'm so glad I did: ascot grey gives me exactly the feeling I wanted from our California.

I love my Ascot Grey Ocean (must change my avatar!) Didn't get the sport pack but have had it lowered on B14 Komfort suspension. I fancy some bronze alloys now to set it off.

Ascot Grey is a great colour and sort of mimics the shade transitions I enjoyed on the Glacier white Audi S4 I owned. It would have been my first choice had it been an option for the Coast with Edition Pack. Audi's Suzuka Grey was another colour shifting paint finish that changed dramatically depending on the prevailing light. The Sports Pack is a perfect choice for AG.

Its a winning combo.
I was given a £500 VW voucher for accessories in compensation for the delay. I wouldn't have added a rear spoiler but I'm glad I had some spare cash there (I also bought cab window wind deflectors, a black rear boot bumper protector and a number plate for my tow ball bike rack - total just over £500 fitted).
I don't think the spoiler has much practical effect (perhaps a little shading and keeping the rain off the back window when camping) but finishes the shape off nicely.

As M88GAV says they look more like 20's. The compromise is that you have to go with slimmer profile tyres but they have compensated for the potential reduction in ride quality by installing coilovers. Unless you go that route and also like the look I would stick to 18/19's as the largest wheels to balance appearance and comfort.

Saw this colour at the Leeds Tri car park the other week and in the flesh, it's stunning - much better than the VW website image. Would defo have considered. Fingers crossed we get our bog std two tone white and green next week
