I'll second that - I changed from Atera Strada DL when we bought 2 electric bikes and this has been superb. V quick to fit and so small to store - mine hasn't got the storage bag as I got mine from Roofbox Co as an unused return so no box or bagThese are superb. Can get into the tailgate with 1,2 or 3 bikes loaded, and fold it up to store indoors.
Hi .. did you find your old Strada DL more controlled at lowering? How have ou got on with Genio pro, especially with weight at over 21kg? What was your your deciding factor and are you still pleased ith it?I'll second that - I changed from Atera Strada DL when we bought 2 electric bikes and this has been superb. I've got on fine with it. Yes DL was more controlled as it sliding in an arc but electric bikes too heavy for it anyway. The Genio takes up to 30 kg per rail (my bikes are about 23kg each) and the rails are spaced further apart so bikes do not rub and veey easy to load. - I can now load both in 1ess than 10 mins. It operates quite different to DL in that it folds so you do have to be on the ball when tilting to ensure you support bikes; it tilts to about 85 deg si bikes never hit ground. I find best to turn handlebars through 90 deg. I don't put cover over bikes when travelling to avoid extra strain on tow bar but do as soon as we stop to keep prying eyes off. Bikes all lock to carrier and we have 2 extra high security locks/chain as extra. Would certainly recommend carrierHi .. did you find your old Strada DL more controlled at lowering? I have one and mount a Cube Katmandhu electric on it 3 times a week, no ramp. Once I twigged the technique. Lift the front wheel on first and then grab the stay arm and lift the back on. I am getting weaker as I get older and I manage ok. I imagine if you put two bikes on you could do the same and then lift one wheel at a time to get on the rear rail, but I haven't tried it. I have seen ramps in action and not sure they are that secure. Somebody will have practical experience though.I realise it’s sold but how did you get on with it?..also I noticed you also purchased the ramp..did this prove useful or don’t bother?
