Hi we just got the kampa travel pod maxi air drive away awning 2016 edition, when attaching it to the van the kador strip supplied appears to be too big to feed into the van awning. Has anyone else had this issue or any tips for attaching. Thanks

Hi you’ve probably got a 6mm Kador
Too big for the slot in the edge of the wind out ?
The strip in the wind out is 4mm 6mm / 4mm Kador

You can still attach to the wind out awning:
pop the wind out awning about 25mm from the rest position (wind it out slightly)
Attach the figure of 8 sections to the Kador strip (on the drive away awning)
Push the Figure of 8 slot over the edge of the wing out awning until it is fully seated.
Wind the awning fully back home (fully closed position)
You now have a really secure connection
if you have guy ropes attached to the canopy you can wrap them around the closed case of the wind out for even better secure fixing

I hope that makes sense, post if you need help

Similar in principle to this
Except the “vehicle gutter profile” is your wind out awning !
& the 6mm beading is already attached to the drive away awning
