Bed stuck in the upright position

Hi all,

I have a Cali 2012 - my 2 seater bed bench will not fold down. I have been camping in her for 3.5 years and I am have raised and lowered the bed many times. After removing the back plate I have discovered the problem is that the radius arm by the passenger door is no longer connected to the Bowden cable. The cable does not appeared to have snapped, and still has a z bend in at the top. I am looking for advice on how to reattach the Bowden cable to the radius arm.

Good luck sorry to hear of your issue.

Our's stuck down in the bed position last year while touring Scotland. Turn out the same issue but because it was stuck in down position seat could be removed to be repaired so lots of issues. Back of seat had to be cut off to free and get up right.

In the end VW undertook the repair.and paid 80% towards repair.
