Not thick, fair question....
People with, or without, Calis turn up & look at others calis & discuss things cali, pick-up ideas from others, generally socialise & meet people from the forum.

Basically is a social event for people with an interest in California. An excuse for a day out !

Just a quick apology from me as I comletely misinterpreted the actual question in your post :headwall .
Clearly I was having a 'moment' :mrgreen:

As well as the meet, greet and looking at other's wagons there is the social element of meeting up with different folk who might share a similar interest (in this case in the Cali).

I am hoping that in the future as the clubs grows that there may be the opportunities for organised activities at events depending on people's interests - i.e walks if the 'gig' is somewhere picturesque (I am thinking of a stunning cliff walk from Weymouth to Lulworth Cove / Durdle Door when I say that) which you might not naturally go to or not even know about were it not for the event.
