Doubleback has only 2 seats.
Bett Mobil still has four. It seems it can transform a 7 seater beach into a 4 seater luxury camper.

Good bit of lateral thinking though. We could have pop outs from the front and side doors too. And not forgetting the bonnet.

Yes, but perhaps you can still use the 7 seater van, and replace the 3 seater bench with this extension when you go camping. That would be nice. Even though it seems complex (and very heavy) to do.

Some doubleback/bettmobil alternatives. One is only 3.5K euro, the other 2.5K euro.
Sometimes I think about this because having both the living area with kitchen and 2 person sleeping bench would be a great plus for larger families (5 in our case).
Still I don't think the quality is good enough.
