Hi All, I want to buy a bike rack for SWMBO and myself - yep only two, but I can only find a rack for four bikes. I am sure there must be a solution out there somewhere but which is best? I can only find Fiamma who offer one but seemingly not for T6. (I must be missing something!)

Oh! Must be tail gate mounted as have not specified towing hitch.

Any recommendations?

The VW rack is great, and you don't have to put four bikes on it :)

You can even remove two of the carriers if you'll never use them.

Thanks. Didn't realise that the removal of two carriers was possible. But it's kind of expensive too?

True, but it's good! Saris Bones is maybe an option if you want something cheaper. I think there is a post somewhere on here where someone is using one.

Have just ordered a Thule Raceway off amazon:

We went for it as we wanted;
  1. a rack that didn't take the bikes over the 2m threshold (ferry + car park trauma)
  2. one that didn't foul the reversing camera / sensors
  3. one that could be removed easily
The fact it will fit my wife's car as well is an added bonus, as was the £230+vat price, but neither of those were deciding factors.

Will let you know how we get on.

Oh, and they do a two-bike version, hence the post!

I use the T5 bike rack and it works best for 2 bikes.... 4 modern mountain bikes and they don't really fit without scratching the bikes as it's almost impossible to put them on without some part of the bikes touching.

They should change the design to allow you to mount the bikes a couple of cm further apart.....

Looks like a good option. I definitely like the below 2m outcome. Thanks and look forward to hearing how you get on.
