Black Forest

Has anyone camped in their Cali in the Black Forest? I've booked my ferry crossing today for a European road trip next summer and I've also fancied going here.

Not in the Cali (we didn't have it then), but we were there last summer. We drove down through France and the back up through the Black Forest. It's very beautiful with some of the best roads I've ever driven on.

I can recommend Camping Belchenblick near Staufen. We stayed there two years ago. Great site in a beautiful area with lots to see and do.

Been there a couple of times in recent years. Lovely area, old villages & towns with half timbered buildings, spectacular scenery. Highest waterfall at Triberg, cuckoo clocks, wood carving, Black Forest Open Air Museum, clock museums, real black forest gateau (bit of a 70's thing), cherries, kirche, black squirrels, oompah bands and a toilet the size of a house. If you have kids take a day out at Europapark at Rust. Plenty of campsites, never booked ahead.
