Braking System - ABS and Bias/Load Valve

Does anyone have a T4 Cali that has both the bias/load valve system and ABS? I started exploring fixing some brake things on my van after a leaking brake line and discovered the bias valve system and that there wasn't anyway that it was working due to non-working parts. After exploring around online I realized that vans that came with ABS didn't have the bias valve. I am wondering if there may have been a special reason the van came with both systems or if anyone had any thoughts about it.

Surely ABS negates the need for the load bias valve?
I have ABS and there is no bias valve fitted.

Thanks for the reply. That is the general thought. I am just seeing if others have ever encountered the same thing (finding both) or if someone may know a reason both were fitted.

I can't rule that out. Maybe they wanted ABS and figured since the other components were still in good working order it didn't make sense to remove them....

I deleted the bias valve parts when replacing almost all of the piping and hoses. ABS works wonderfully.
