Brittany Ferries Club Voyage Query

Hi all

As you no longer can use a guest discount code for Brittany Ferries crossings was wondering what discount they actually give on crossings for club voyage members.

Their info states upto 35% on crossings ! But is this for all crossings or selective ones ?

They are offering a half price first year membership so could be worth joining for a year to receive the discount .

Works very well for us, mainly because we do 2-3 return crossings over the winter ski season which get the 35% discount. IIRC it drops at Easter to a lower discount (10%?) and then again for the summer when I don’t think yo7 get a discount at all*. You do get a credit of £12.50 or so per person to use for food/drink for overnight crossings or a free cabin for day sailings, even in the summer though.
So we save a lot of money being members, but someone looking to travel mainly in the summer would get much less benefit. Need to look closely at your own personal use case.

Edit - *drops to 15% at Easter and Autumn, still 5% in the summer.

It is worth having. Just looked at my 2 November bookings saved £113 and £89 . Plus 2.5 euros off on meals per person so for 2 that is another 50 euros off.
Spain
£90 one off registration fee.
£90 annual membership

First year you pay the registration fee as well but after that only membership. Discount is only on crossing not cabins.

To France in April only saved £38 as I have Spain membership so less discount when going to France. March to Spain £99 saving.

The offer of initial discount Membership is a good option as previously the joining fee plus annual membership was only viable if you were to do multitrips in the first year.

Membership 'perks' were changed a few years ago ie what benefits were given.

As I was a member prior to the changes I kept my 30% crossing discount, 10% off meals on daytime sailings, free breakfast on night sailings and free cabin on afternoon sailing from UK & free cabin on morning sailing from France. Basic Cabins only.

France only membership so no knowledge of the Spanish option.

Check the Membership details carefully and decide if worth doing in your trip schedule.
