Broken blind dooberry

A partial crack in the thing you use to pull down the blind became a complete crack yesterday, resulting in a broken thing.

I presume these can't be replaced without replacing the whole blind at great expense, but just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and knows of a cheap miracle cure?

I'm guessing it might be a job for super glue as our van is out of warranty, unless there is a better fix for this.

You can get replacement blinds and it looks as if the handle is screwed on, on yours. You could get a blind and swap handles. Might be a way forward without removing trim etc:

If you post the year of your vehicle then that would help.

Thanks, it's a 2010 facelift van.

I did wonder about the screw, but you can't see them on the reverse of the blind so would require blind surgery. Which makes me think it is unlikely i can just buy the tab on its own.

Cheap (probably not very good) glue fix, or expensive new blind by the looks of things then.
