Hi just to say bought a beach shelf unit two weeks ago from them turned up in 3 days I had a dhl tracking number from dhl in Germany but was delivered by Royal Mail. Great service no issues.

I have sent emails and messages on Instagram but not received any response, which is why I wanted to ask fellow members for their experience.

It's good they will deliver.

A certain company who make Froli style bed springs for the Cali now won't deliver to the UK as we are out of the EU.

So having to have them delivered to Greece and pic them up when I'm at the Villa
 
Not addressing your initial question. But if you are thinking of fitting these type of shelves to a California Ocean consider how they will restrict your view when using the stove and sink. I found fitting draws under the sink useful. Does not increase storage space but makes accessing stuff much easier then having Ikea boxes on shelves.
 

ciao, purtroppo con Grünthal Mobilcamping sto avendo una pessima esperienza, ordinato 15 gg fa il pianale scorrevole per il bagagliaio, dhl lo sta facendo girare per la Germania e nemmeno loro sanno dove sia, cosi hanno detto nell'unica mail in cui hanno risposto, non tollerato avendo speso 100€ solo per la spedizione. ​

Non esiste più nemmeno la famosa efficienza tedesca. ​

Decided to sell the slide we have as we stopped using it and got fed up of taking it out to put bikes in the back. Cancel the order and I can deliver from Poland

I bought on two seperate occassions both times delivered fine, although you will need to pay custom tax on top which was about £70 as i did buy 2 of the shelves (see video below) the other item i ordered were the cupboard shelves which i also reviewed.

I dont find the shelves restrict at all, i have however bumped my head once but given how much benefit i get from these for extra storage well worth the 1 bump :)

I purchased those shelves (they are great, good quality and extremely easy to fit). Delivery was timely but their communication isn’t great. Possibly due to language issues. I asked them to take off the German VAT to save paying twice - you will get hit for duty and fees which is quite a hefty premium on the selling price. As per @andybeary above I think I paid £70-80 from memory. Many EU retailers will do this but I had no luck with Gruenthal.

Things have gotten a lot more customer unfriendly since the B****. I asked Brompton if I could buy one of their bikes in the UK, export it to Germany and claim back the VAT. No dice. :sad

It most certainly has! Many EU retailers including some Cali specialists won’t even sell to the UK now :( Hopefully more retailers either side of the Channel will start offering ex VAT pricing in future.

As a dog owner I recently discovered that in the post Brexit world there’s a brand new money making racket for vets both sides of the pond too!

Same issue we had with the vat but otherwise still good service and a good product

By way of an update I’m looking to buy again from them and this time they have responded saying they will issue an invoice with German VAT deducted. I guess they have concluded that the UK market is worthwhile for them which is good news. They haven’t automated it yet which makes the buying process a bit more drawn out. They have a great range of products though.

il giorno prima non sapevano darmi nessuna info sullo stato della mia spedizione, la spedizione il giorno dopo è arrivata a casa mia. Mistero.
In ogni caso la qualità dei prodotti è alta ma a livello di customer care hanno molti difetti.
 
I've used Google translate for the above. I don't think it is fair to blame Grünthal for delivery problems once they have dispatched an order. If everything address wise is correct then any delay is the fault of the courier, which is clearly outside the control of the seller.

I bought a sliding tray from Grünthal (delivery within Germany so no issues) and the quality is excellent.
