Cab blinds for grand California

Side windows look a nice fit, but does the windscreen blind have a gap at the top that is away from the windscreen? It looks like a lot of sun light is coming through or maybe just the angle of the picture? I am considering getting some internal blinds for when wild camping, have the external thermal wrap around from Rainbow Screens for when on sites, which is great and really blocks the light out. looking at a site in Germany that seems to have good internal blinds that fit individual windows for the GC.

Yes there is a gap at the top of about 1 inch.
This doesn’t really bother me as all the blinds let light through anyway. The ease of use, privacy and extra storage appealed to me more than anything

I'm trying to convince myself to invest in a set of the Remis blinds. We have the foil/thermal blinds which are effective, cheap and easy to fit, but i like the convenience of these Remis.

The youtubers - Posh Cats - have the Remis on their Crafter based conversion and they had a flap which opens out to fill the gap at the top of the windscreen. It wasnt obvious and it had to be pointed out to them

Nice job, they look really smart and so convenient!!

They are even better than I thought then
There is indeed a flap at the top- I knew about the 2 at the sides

Love our Remis front blind - it was a pain in the backside to fit. I love wilding or staying at Aires in France. The ability to pull up the blind and get some privacy without blocking the entire view or knowing if you need to scoot then you can do without whipping off an external screen is priceless.

Also quite like the privacy/security/sun shade it brings when parking up somewhere for the day. Keeps prying eyes at bay.

Our little one sleeps downstairs in our van and not once disturbed by any major light leakage. The top flap and side flaps do a good job of blocking any light either side of the blinds.

These look great....something that should have come with the GC....in my opinion.

Where did you order from? I visited the Remis site, but they don't sell direct. Thanks!

I got my Front one from these guys…..

Do the GC‘s come with the side windows from factory or nothing at all? The Knaus has the sides fitted but not the front.

The GC comes with lovely fabric covers with magnets.....for both the side windows. The windshield is also fabric- attaches to the visors and comes with basically a tent support to hold it ridged across the bottom (we don't use that part)

Wow!

Wow! I had enough of a faff with the concertina fabric and magnets on the a pillars for the windscreen in the Knaus.

I ended up removing the magnets on the a pillar so that the sliders on left and right would mate up properly to exclude the light.

How effective are these blinds at stopping condensation forming on insides of windows at night ?
External thermal blinds very good at preventing this
But the VW internal blinds no good at all for preventing condensation forming

I have bought these for our TGE but not used them yet as the vehicle is still not complete.

I have used Reimo internal screens on T4, T5 & T6 over the years and been very pleased with them. Time will tell if these are as good but at the price it's worth a try.

PS yes I know that some of the pictures are for the earlier Crafter but these certainly fit the 2017 onwards model.
