Hi folks

I've got a Cali Beach which I'm looking at getting a retro 240v hook up fitted

Has any one got any photo's of this already been completed

where s the best place to have the 3 pin plug socket within the Cali
And where can you have the 240 v connector Ideally I want it out of sight

thanks
Chris

Yes I have fitted it. Loads of details on this thread even if it does go off topic a bit at times viewtopic.php?f=104&t=3650 in the Beach section.

VW put the 3 pin plug on the B pillar trim behind the passenger seat but best place for you might be different. I have 3x 3 pin outlets (for coolbox, charger & general use) but they are all on a kitchen pod.
Connector can be almost hidden at the rear (like mine) or a lot of people put them in the engine bay so that would be totally hidden.
Hope this helps.

Owen - Thankyou very much for sharing the information much appreciated

Hi Chris,

I have a 3-pin socket in the B-pillar behind the passenger seat, a Victron Blue Power Charger and Dist Board under the drivers seat, and the inlet socket under the bonnet next to the battery.

I also got them to run a charge cable to run my Solar Panel at the same time.

Pictures are on the forum already somewhere, search around and you should find them.

Thanks

James
