Busfest was fantastic. And having got a spot this year in the Club camping bit made this experience even better. Met the best Cali people, don't know their user names, but I am sure a few of you are on here. Who was there then? Speak now, or forever hold your peace! :-D

We were there - see profile picture (I think I look better 3D though)!

I remember you. At least I think I do!! Hard to see such a small picture. I was in the white one. :)

I was at Busfest with our local vw club and popped by the club pitch and spoke to some lovely people who gave us a number of great tips on camping setup and where to store stuff. Getting our Cali next month and very excited

I remember the day I got mine. Could hardly contain myself. Enjoy your new Cali. and post a piccie. Is that your T2 in the picture? I had one years ago. Was a raspberry colour, and i fleeced the dash and door interiors in shocking pink. Was a Devon Moonraker conversion.

Everyone in our family is excited even the kids!!, Yes it is, our pride and joy but up for sale at the moment :(. Wishe we could keep it but need to pay for the Cali somehow. I just hope we made the right decision:confused:

Always sad parting with a T2, they are so full of character. I doubt you will regret getting a Cali. But I feel sad for you selling your pride and joy, but usually whatever home they go to, you can bank on them being cherished! :)

Keep it!

We did the same and can't part with any of our VW's... but then again, maybe I have a problem.

You won't regret the Cali though, and much more user friendly prospect and I'm sure you'll get much more use out of it.

Still... keep it! ;)

Last call if you are thinking of coming to camp + Malvern & the worlds biggest VW Transporter Festival this year.

Our Camping areas are almost FULL & we will be closing our booking system shortly.

We were there don't forget Saturday Night is curry night, we will be putting the tables out down the middle of our camping area.

Missed the club camping this time around. Slumming it in general lol

Anyone else here? We were not booked in club camping and are looking for all the Cali's? Hope you remembered your welly boots

We went yesterday to have a look round. First time there and we got in at 9am.

Weather was quite kind until around lunchtime then the photo above sums it up. Biblical rain!

Didn't really bother us as we'd seen the forecast and dressed appropriately.

Wandered round to the VWCC club stand, smaller than I expected it to be but we met a lovely couple who had their lovely Blackberry T6 there, forgive me I can't remember your names, but their reg is TH15 CAL, I'm sure i've seen their pic on here before.

We were quite restrained really, considering we don't have one yet and our first ever hire is in October....

Only bought a £2 camping cookbook, some VW LED fairy lights, a VW umbrella and a ping rear view mirror garland. Could have been tempted by so much more though!

We were quite impressed really. Lots of conversion stuff and tat but generally really good to see such a nice range of vans and 'stuff'. Pity about the weather!

We were there Paul & Linda grey T6 with green Quechua base tent. A really good group in the cali pitch this year. Glad you enjoyed the show see you next year.
