One image makes it look like a copy & paste Transit. Got to love the cheek of the Chinese clones.

Four captain's chairs in the rear folding down to make the bed is, as far as I know, a new innovation.

At $40k, I would strongly consider buying that if it came to UK.

“Internal hydroelectric heating“ - what’s that? Lost in translation perhaps

could be this, if so then it could have hot water, but seems a bit too much in a small van:

Possibly as they would be incredibly uncomfortable? Lots of scope to sell a comfort mattress option though.

The non-rotating front seats seem a lazy cop out rather than a well considered design too. But, as others have said, if the price undercuts the European traditional models they would find homes. The grey import Bongos and the like proved the demand for inexpensive mpv/camper. In some ways it is surprising Kia/Hyundai haven't gone down that route.

They are probably looking to the embryonic domestic market rather than compete head on by exporting to Europe.

In 2017 I met a Chinese couple at Nordkapp who had driven from Shanghai in a converted Chinese van (I forget the make, Geely perhaps). They must have been pioneers.

I imagine the bed is made by folding the four chairs forward, then laying a mattress on top of the four folded chairs an the parcel shelf.
