Sick of using the seat arms to get up and down from the roof to sleep, then why not order our Campervanbits VW California 2 section bunk ladders? These simply rest up on the roof lip, so no drilling is required. These are easy to store as they come in 2 sections in a handy storage bag that can be stored on the headrest of the back seat or behind the passenger seat. With £20 off this January making them only £119.99 you will wonder how you ever lived without them

This was our first 'new van' purchase and has proven to be a sound investment. The previous van owner had already damaged an armrest & we didn't want a repeat of that.

My only observation is that the lip at the top of the ladder could be improved by replacing with a bespoke hook or angled bracket that matches the shape of the roof ledge in place of the generic fitting bracket. We've improved ours by adding some non-slip material where the ladder rests against the opening.

I have one of these and was concerned about how it clips on going to look at making some sort of bracket that gives more confidence but also avoids causing any damage.

IF anyone has done this would love to see pictures
