This seemed to be closest to the centre of Toulouse.
We were uncomfortable staying here and left after one day. Had we arrived earlier than we did, we would have gone elsewhere. It is in a dodgy area which felt quite unsafe at night. It is close to a noisy motorway in an industrial/ rundown/ abandoned type of area.
Immediately adjacent to the tourist campsite was another less formal campsite, but the kind with dogs wandering about, long term residents and piles of scrap metal in it. Possible as a result of this, the gate security on the tourist campsite looked like South Africa, with substantial bits of steel, huge overnight gates ......
We went out of season, so getting to the nearest Metro into town meant a 15 minute walk in this dodgy area, then a bus then the metro. So we aborted
However - it did offer a fantastic 7km cycle into Toulouse along canal tow paths. The centre of Toulouse was worth the trip too.
