Can anyone recommend any sites on the Isle of Whight

We're planning on visiting the Isle of Wight next year and are looking for any site recommendations. I've found a couple of site reviews on here, but the posts are quite old and sites can change from one year to the next! Any recent recommendation would be welcome, please.

It's Wight without the h!

Just back on Sunday - we stayed a week at the Caravan and Motorhome Club site Southlands near Sandown. Great site with the expected first class C&MC facilities. They also got us a great return price on the Red Funnel ferry.

If independent field oriented camping is more your thing, Grange Farm at Brighstone Bay looked really good when we went past it and it's right on the sea edge.

About 18 months ago stayed at Appuldurcombe Gardens, nice quiet site good sized pitches and superb shower/toilet block. Did not use shop/bar etc so can’t comment on this - would use it again. Came as a deal with Red Funnel ferries so worth checking.

We have used Southland CAMC a few times and think it’s pretty well located. Lots of grass areas and good facilities. I would recommend.
