Central control panel and light surround removal?

Struggling to remove the light and control panel unit from the roof . I’ve got the control panel off and the light switch unit
I’ve damaged the light socket on the board underneath so I need to remove the unit from the roof .
I’ve also taken two off screws off from under the sunglasses holder. Uncoupled the unit from the rear end .
That’s as far as once got. The little panel to the front of the unit against the windscreen I suspect needs removing but I cannot get it open .
Can anyone help me out on this?
2008 SE , so the plastic is a little brittle looking..
