Has anyone ever updated from Climatic to Climatronic aircon? Is it indeed possible!? If so, presumably very pricey....or is it?!

Very, very pricy I'm afraid. It's not just the controls and hardware behind the dash, but there is also a condenser etc: in the rear on the R side, looking towards the front, with associated hardware and pipes from the AirCon compressor, which may need to be changed as well.
