Cigarette socket not working

Hoping someone can help before i give up and call upon VW garage.
The cigarette lighter in my T6 Cali Ocean doea nit work, i have changed the fuse (blue 15a) both under the dash and under the seat (i changed all blue fuses) but it still doesnt work.
Is there another simple fix for this or am i doomed to have to put the van into the garage?

Have you checked with a Multimeter? It could be the plug you are using. Some 12v plugs have their own internal fuse.

Just had the same on 2018 T6 changed fuses which kept blowing, then found a part of the dash cam adapter lodged inside the cigarette lighter. Thanks for all the assistance these threads are invaluable
