Cleaning my Brandrup Carpets

Five years in, and time on my hands, decided to spring clean the Cali. It’s all going well apart from the Brandrup carpets.

There are a few tricky brown stains, I’m hoping they are coffee or tea, which I can’t get rid of. I’ve tried a domestic steam carpet cleaner and the auto glum (great auto-correct) carpet cleanser that came with the van.

Any suggestions?

I have the VW rubber mats up front. Works a treat. When your shoes are wet and/or dirty, you just stay on the rubber mats and those clean off with water.
Certainly those pale grey carpets will become black too, but won't be that nice.

Agreed, but currently it’s easier to think about cleaning rather than buying new stuff. Of course the flaw in my logic is that I have to buy some carpet cleanser!?
