continuous beep

Hi my T5 has just started a continuous beeeeeeeeeeeep from the rear o/s that keeps killing the battery. have any of you good people come across this before?

Do you have rear sensors fitted and if so does anything show on your radio display? Could be a sensor is dirty or faulty. I assume the battery you mention is the starter battery.

Does it continue without keys in the ignition? If parking sensors fitted, do you know if they are factory or aftermarket ones?

If the beep itself comes from behind it can not be the parkingsensors....
they are in the rear but the sound must come from the cabin....

Thanks for the replies. I have today taken the panel off the inside and found some wires going in to the bottom of the rear quarter with a fuse in. took them out and the beep stopped so I think this may be for parking sensors but none in the bumper so I will see how it goes. Thanks once again
